Calla Lilies We have many different colors and varieties. Potted plants $4 and up.
These are all photos of our actual plants and flowers. You too can grow beautiful Callas, it's so easy! Callas grow from bulbs. Some people here in Dandridge keep their bulbs in the ground over the winter, others dig them up and store them. Personally I dig mine up (or remove them from their pots) and dry them, then store in a paper bag or box. Occasionally I've missed a few in the garden, though, and have plants that have over-wintered in the ground the last three years. Callas normally like full sun. We have very poor soil in our yard, so most of my Callas are in pots. Pots can get very, very hot in the sun, which is bad for plants. If you keep your Callas in the sun, they will probably be happier with some shade in the afternoon. For more growing instructions, see "How to Grow Callas" in the links on the left side of this page. Read it all the way through, and you will know as much as I know about growing these BEAUTIFUL flowers. |
